My condolences to Bobby’s family and friends. Please know he was loved and respected by so many. Bobby Alexander welcomed me into TPWD when I was a seasonal and treated me as if I had been in the department for years. In fact he gave me my first TPWD hat and made it clear he was disappointed that no one else had. 😊 He set a wonderful example of how to treat folks and earn their loyalty. I will remember him as he was: a champion for wildlife, a consummate professional and always with a smile on his face.

Robert Van Cleave

Dallas, TX

Bobby G was one of my dad’s (Bob Van Cleave) best friends. They worked together for 34 years at Texas Parks and Wildlife and enjoyed telling their stories with the other retirees at The Wavy V Ranch, where I got to know Bobby. Blessings to June, Jill and Bobby, Jr from all the Van Cleave Family.

Bobby was my brother by marriage. All our family loved him from the moment we met him. I remember many good times spending summers at his and June’s house and especially when he cooked Mexican food for us!! He was a strong Christian, generous, thoughtful and always full of fun! I will miss his sweet spirit and smile. I am comforted to know he is in Heaven and free of pain and suffering. See you again someday ❤️
