Albert Kirby Timmons

Albert Kirby Timmons, 59, of Dallas, TX, died January 5, 2021. Kirby was born in Nassawadox, VA, April 12, 1961 to Margaret Cody Timmons (deceased) and Albert Joe Timmons of Little Rock, AR.
Kirby attended public schools in Little Rock and graduated from Parkview High School as a National Merit Scholar finalist. Following completion of his BBA and MBA degrees at Baylor University, Kirby joined the Private Business Advisory team at Peat, Marwick in Dallas. He also provided accounting services for several entrepreneurial investors and then became Budget Officer at Solvey America’s plant at Mansfield, TX.
Kirby is survived by his life partner Mark Mynatt, Dallas; his father and a brother, Scott and sister-in-law, Allyce Timmons of Hensley, AR and a host of friends and neighbors who will remember him as an excellent listener, a wise and often humorous counselor and deeply spiritual. Kirby was of the Baptist faith.
At the height of his career, Kirby was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. With the loving support of Mark, Kirby faced this challenge with courage and determination for more than 25 years. He provided careful accounting advice to many friends and for more than 15 years he served as volunteer accountant and advisor to David Timothy, Founder and CEO of SoupMobile, Dallas.
Kirby’s cremains will be interred beside his mother in the columbarium at Mt. Holly Cemetery, in Little Rock. A public Celebration of Kirby’s life will be held in the future.
